Kalou Dubus' first solo exhibition at Galerie Desprez Breheret will take place in December 2022. Inspired by the power of Delos, a Cycladic island near Tinos where she lives and works part of the year, the artist uses it as the starting point for her new works. Imbued with the legends and telluric forces of this mythical island, Kalou invites us into her instinctive and sacred universe. The exhibition will feature works evoking ancient architecture and the modernist buildings of Wright and Kahn, including a set of concrete coffee tables, the monumental totem Titan, and luminous sculptures.
